Your Certificate of Deposit Dashboard
When a customer opens the CD management section, the Certificate of Deposit Management screen shows every CD account they hold. Each certificate card displays:- Certificate term (e.g. 6 Month, 9 Month, 12 Month Certificate)
- Account Number
- Current Balance
- Maturity Date
- APY (Annual Percentage Yield)
- Interest Rate

Certificate of Deposit Options
After clicking Manage, the Certificate of Deposit Options screen appears. It shows the selected certificate’s details at the top and two action choices below:- Renew certificate — renew at the same or a different term at today’s published rate
- Close and transfer to another account — close the certificate and move the balance to another account

Renewing a Certificate
Step 1 — Certificate of Deposit Renewal Options
The renewal screen shows the selected certificate at the top. There are two sections: Add or withdraw funds from certificate (left panel)- Choose Add funds or Withdraw funds using the radio buttons
- Select a funding account from the dropdown
- Enter a funding amount
- Select a new term from the Term options available dropdown (e.g. 9 Months)
- The rate and APY for that term appear automatically once a selection is made
- Click View Current Rates to see all available rates before deciding

Step 2 — Fill in your preferences
Select your funding account, enter an amount, and pick a term. The rate and APY populate automatically on the right once a term is selected.
Step 3 — Transfer Authorization
A Transfer Authorization modal summarises the transaction before anything is submitted. Review the details carefully:| Field | What it shows |

| Certificate | The term and name of the renewed certificate |
| Account Number | The certificate’s account number |
| APY | Annual percentage yield for the new term |
| Interest Rate | Interest rate for the new term |
| Funding Amount | The amount being added or withdrawn |
| Funding Account | The masked account number of the source |

Step 4 — Success
A Success confirmation modal confirms the renewal. It shows the final account details:- Account Number
- Effective Date
- APY
- Interest Rate
- Balance

Closing and Transferring a Certificate
Step 1 — Certificate of Deposit Closure Options
The closure screen shows the selected certificate at the top and a Close and transfer to another account form below. Fill in:- Select account — choose where the balance will be transferred (internal or external account)
- Reason for closing — select from available options (e.g. “Reached my savings goal”)
- Transfer amount — pre-filled with the full current balance; edit if a partial transfer is needed

Step 2 — Fill in your transfer details
Select the destination account and a reason for closing. The full balance is pre-populated in the transfer amount field.
Step 3 — Internal Transfer Authorization
A Internal Transfer Authorization modal appears showing a summary of the transfer:| Field | What it shows |

Step 4 — Success
A Success confirmation modal confirms the certificate has been closed and the balance transferred.
