Four account types are available: * **Certificate of Deposit (CD)** — fixed-term savings with a guaranteed rate and APY * **Checking** — everyday transaction accounts with no or minimal fees * **Savings** — basic interest-bearing savings accounts * **Money Market** — higher-minimum accounts with competitive rates Select the account type you want to open from the options page. Each flow follows the same pattern: choose a product, fund it from an existing account, authorize the transfer, and receive a confirmation. New Account Open Options — showing CD, Checking, Savings, and Money Market tiles *** ## Opening a Certificate of Deposit ### Step 1 — Select a CD term The **Certificate of Deposit Account Types** screen lists all available CD terms along with their APY, interest rate, and minimum balance. Click **Open** on the term you want to open. Certificate of Deposit Account Types — showing 6 Month (APY 3.45%), 9 Month (APY 3.75%), and 12 Month (APY 4.40%) certificates ### Step 2 — Fund your new CD The **Certificate of Deposit Open Options** screen displays the selected CD details at the top. In the **Fund your new certificate of deposit** section: * **Select funding account** — choose the source account from the dropdown * **Funding amount** — enter the amount to deposit (must meet the minimum balance) * Check the **I accept the Terms and Conditions** checkbox Certificate of Deposit Open Options — empty form showing Select funding account dropdown and Funding amount field Fill in the funding account and amount, then accept the Terms and Conditions. Certificate of Deposit Open Options — filled with Internal Savings ****59905 selected, $1,000.00 funding amount, Terms and Conditions accepted Click **Submit** when ready. ### Step 3 — Transfer Authorization A **Transfer Authorization** modal summarises the funding transaction before it is submitted. Review the details: | Field | What it shows | | -------------- | ----------------------------------------------- | | Funding Source | The masked account number of the source account | | Funding Amount | The amount being transferred | | APY | Annual percentage yield for the selected term | | Interest Rate | Interest rate for the selected term | Transfer Authorization modal for 6 Month Certificate — Funding Source Internal Savings ****59905, Funding Amount $1,000.00, APY 3.45%, Interest Rate 4.00% Click **Submit** to confirm, or **Cancel** to go back and make changes. ### Step 4 — Success A **Success** confirmation modal confirms your new CD has been funded. Success modal — Your certificate of deposit has been funded successfully. Shows 6 Month Certificate with Funding Source Internal Savings ****59905, Funding Amount $1,000.00, APY 3.45%, Interest Rate 4.00% Click **Close** to return to the dashboard. Your new CD will appear in the Certificate of Deposit Management list. *** ## Opening a Checking Account ### Step 1 — Select a checking account type The **Checking Account Types** screen shows all available checking products. Click **Open** on the account type you want. Checking Account Types — Free Checking Account (no fees, no APY), Interest Bearing Account (APY 0.01%), Premium Checking Account (enhanced benefits) ### Step 2 — Fund your new checking account The **Checking Account Open Options** screen displays the selected account details at the top. Fill in: * **Select funding account** — choose the source account from the dropdown * **Funding amount** — enter the initial deposit amount * Check the **I accept the Terms and Conditions** checkbox Checking Account Open Options — empty form for Free Checking Account Checking Account Open Options — filled with Internal Savings ****59905 selected, $1,000.00 funding amount Click **Submit** when ready. ### Step 3 — Transfer Authorization A **Transfer Authorization** modal confirms the funding details before submission. Transfer Authorization modal for Free Checking Account — Funding Source Internal Savings ****59905, Funding Amount $1,000.00 Click **Submit** to confirm. ### Step 4 — Success A **Success** modal confirms the checking account has been funded. Success modal — Your checking account has been funded successfully. Shows Free Checking Account with Funding Source Internal Savings ****59905, Funding Amount $1,000.00 Click **Close** to return to the dashboard. You can manage your new checking account from the Accounts section of online banking. *** ## Opening a Savings Account ### Step 1 — Fund your new savings account The **Savings Account Open Options** screen displays the Savings Account details and a funding form. Fill in: * **Select funding account** — choose the source account from the dropdown * **Funding amount** — enter the initial deposit (minimum balance is \$0.00) * Check the **I accept the Terms and Conditions** checkbox Savings Account Open Options — empty form showing Savings Account with APY 0.01%, Interest Rate 0.01%, Minimum Balance $0.00 Savings Account Open Options — filled with Internal Savings ****59905 selected, $1,000.00 funding amount, Terms accepted Click **Submit** when ready. ### Step 2 — Transfer Authorization A **Transfer Authorization** modal shows the funding summary. Transfer Authorization modal for Savings Account — Funding Source Internal Savings ****59905, Funding Amount $1,000.00, APY 0.01%, Interest Rate 0.01% Click **Submit** to confirm. ### Step 3 — Success A **Success** modal confirms the savings account has been funded. Success modal — Your savings account has been funded successfully. Shows Saving Account with Funding Source Internal Savings ****59905, Funding Amount $1,000.00, APY 0.01%, Interest Rate 0.01% Click **Close** to return to the dashboard. *** ## Opening a Money Market Account ### Step 1 — Fund your new money market account The **Money Market Account Open Options** screen displays the account details and a funding form. Fill in: * **Select funding account** — choose the source account from the dropdown * **Funding amount** — enter the initial deposit (minimum balance is \$250.00) * Check the **I accept the Terms and Conditions** checkbox Money Market Account Open Options — empty form showing Money Market Account with APY 0.01%, Interest Rate 0.01%, Minimum Balance $250.00 Money Market Account Open Options — filled with Internal Savings ****59905 selected, $1,000.00 funding amount, Terms accepted Click **Submit** when ready. ### Step 2 — Transfer Authorization A **Transfer Authorization** modal shows the funding summary. Transfer Authorization modal for Money Market Account — Funding Source Internal Savings ****59905, Funding Amount $1,000.00, APY 0.01%, Interest Rate 0.01% Click **Submit** to confirm. ### Step 3 — Success A **Success** modal confirms the money market account has been funded. Success modal — Your money market account has been funded successfully. Shows Money Market Account with Funding Source Internal Savings ****59905, Funding Amount $1,000.00, APY 0.01%, Interest Rate 0.01% Click **Close** to return to the dashboard. *** **Note** After any successful account opening, an alert notification confirmation is sent to the customer. If a funding transfer fails — for example, if the source account has insufficient funds — an error message is displayed and no account is created.
